Welcome to the Quai des Fleurs, our early 19th century manor house on Saint Savinien the Charente, where we welcome you all year round. Warm welcome, beautiful and comfortable rooms, peace and quiet, gourmet breakfast, garden and terrace on the riverside are the assets of our establishment ideally located close to the shops. We have renovated the house to offer you elegant rooms decorated with Stephen's paintings and antique objects, with en-suite bathrooms. The rooms are equipped with beds with firm mattresses excellent for the back, quality linen, toiletries and a welcome tray with kettle, tea, coffee, milk, water and biscuits. Breakfast is included in the price and is served either on the terrace overlooking the house or in the breakfast roomCharente, which is also available throughout the day. Our house and garden are strictly non-smoking. If you are travelling by bicycle we have a shed where your bicycles will be safe and secure.
Saint Savinien labelled "Petite Cité de Caractère, Village de Pierre et D'Eau" and "Ville et Métiers d'Arts", is the ideal place to recharge your batteries, but also an excellent starting point for visiting the wonders of the Charente-Maritime: Saintes, Rochefort, La Rochelle, the Ile d'Oléron, Fouras, the Ile d'Aix, Fort Boyard, Meschers, Talmont-sur-Gironde, etc. Come and discover the river Charente and its beautiful villages near St Savinien: Taillebourg, Port d'Envaux, Crazannes, etc.

Princesse our border-collie cross, is a real softie (and bilingual!). However we do not allow her access to the bedrooms. Her job? To look adorable at all times!
We are ideally located just under 20 mns from the Bordeaux-Poitiers/Nantes motorway (A10), so we are a great place to stop for a night if you are making a long North-South / South-North journey. Take exit 34 at Saint-Jean-d'Angely if you are coming from the North, and exit 35 Saintes if you are coming from the South. In both cases, it will take you about 15 minutes before you arrive at our place. You can easily park in the street in front of or close to the house.
Our address is 49, Quai des Fleurs, 17350 Saint Savinien, but on some GPS it appears under its cadastral address: 49, Quai Claude Quessot. Don't worry, it's the same thing!
Our art and jewelry boutique workshop, where everything is made on site by ourselves, is open 5 afternoons a week. We offer two non-smoking guest rooms, each with en-suite bathroom and a magnificent view of the river: the ideal place to disconnect (but we offer wi-fi anyway!).
We welcome you in a warm and arty spirit. As far as possible, all the produce served for breakfast are local, even organic: fresh fruit, yoghurt, pastries and bread from the baker, local or Breton specialities, or, why not, English, for those who wish! Feel free to let us know what you would like, but also your allergies or food restrictions. Our goal: that you feel good here and want to come back! Breakfast is served, depending on the weather, on the terrace on the edge of the Charente, on the patio at the back of the house, or in the breakfast room on the ground floor. This room and the garden by the river are also at your disposal all day long. You can prepare a hot drink, read or work.
